How many times has this happened to you? I’m guessing that it probably hasn’t, but for Layrd Mahler or Arizona, he has the video to prove it. It seems that while he was driving on a Phoenix road recently, a snake poked its head out from underneath his hood and was staring at him through his windshield!
Mahler tried using his windshield wipers to dislodge the snake from his car, but the snake wound itself around the wiper before disappearing underneath the hood again. Mahler pulled over but could not locate the snake. He debated whether he should get back into the car or not. He finally decided to “man up,” get back into the car, and drive home.
Once there, he contacted animal control, but they could not find the snake. Mahler says he gives himself a pep talk every morning before getting into his car. “Ok, be prepared if something pops out,” he said. “That’s the best I can do, I think.” Good luck, Layrd!
