Soooo this is totally on my mind still, since I'm the new guy in the area. You may be looking to find a really nice apartment right near downtown Charlotte, but you may not have enough money to afford it.

I just saw this awesome article from The Charlotte Observer. They've pin pointed a few hot spots that you can afford on a dime. Places like Providence Drive for $635 a month, Cedar's East Court for $679 a month, and more!
I really love the Providence one. It looks like a total steal.
