Each Monday I hi-light some tracks that are brand new, and may not be on the air yet. This week for Music Monday I am previewing new tracks from Macklemore ft. Offset, Selena Gomez and Marshmello, and Liam Payne.
1. Macklemore ft. Offset "Willy Wonka"
Macklemore has been on fire with the release of his latest album "Gemini". He had a hit with "Glorious", he currently has a hit alongside Ke$ha with "Good Old Days" and now this track with Offset has dropped. "Willy Wonka" has an infectious bass line, and shows that Macklemore can drop a pop hit, but also deliver a banger that you can hear in the clubs.
2. Selena Gomez X Marshmello "Wolves"
Yes, I know this is the second straight week I've featured a song with Marshmello, but the guy is dropping serious fire lately. This song dropped last week, and I can't stop playing it. Everything about this song just works, it's like Selena's collb with Kygo "It Ain't Me" but better. Marshmello definitely has a "sound" but I am not sick of it, and will keep playing whatever he releases. This song just serves as more evidence that Marshmello is going to break into the mainstream in late 2017, and have a huge 2018.
3. Liam Payne "Bedroom Floor"
2017 was the year of One Direction members dropping records like crazy. Harry did his thing, and so did Niall, but in my opinion Liam has the smoothest records so far. His first single "Strip that Down" still gets played on the radio and in the clubs. His second single "Bedroom Floor" has a tropical house vibe that will make you feel like it's Summer even though this will be big in the Fall/Winter, it was also co written by a guy named Charlie Puth, you might have heard of him ; )
