Want an opportunity to eat a meal cooked by 5 chefs while sitting at a long table with 80 other guests? Well next Sunday, August 12th, you can have that dream come true! Syracuse’s first “Long Table” meal will happen next weekend next to the newest art collaboration in Armory Square, “Wildflowers Armory.”
The event is being organized by Mark Pawliw, Michael John Heagerty, and Chef DeAnna Germano of Baldwinsville’s “The Chef and the Cook.” Heagerty open “Wildflowers Armory” earlier this year. It is a place where local artists can sell and display their work. According to Pawliw, “Chefs are artists who work in food.”
Germano and four of her colleagues will each create one course of the five course meal. Each course will come with some spirits from New York distillers. The meal will occur from 2-5 pm next to “Wildflowers Armory” at 225 W. Jefferson Street, Syracuse. Tickets are $75.
