The Northeast has been very cold, but if you want to know how it’s really been, check out Niagara Falls- it’s beginning to freeze over! Yes, parts of the raging waterfalls are freezing over.
Sub-zero wind chill from a recent Arctic blast has been responsible for the freezing of parts of the Falls. Due to the volume and sheer force of the rushing waters, it’s almost impossible for the entire falls to freeze over, but parts of the Falls and the mist can freeze giving the Falls a glacier look.
Tourists have been posting photos of the frozen Falls on social media. Whether it’s summer or winter, Niagara Falls is a majestic natural wonder!
