For some reason, I found this story to be quite interesting and odd at the same time. It seems that some people who have bought Hershey Kisses bags, opened them up only to find.....that the tips of the kiss were missing! Yes that’s right. The tip was missing on the Hershey Kiss!
On the Hershey Kisses Facebook page, one customer wrote “This is crazy!!! Looks like way more have broken tips than not!!! Unacceptable Hershey!!!” Another person said it was time to “call and complain” about the missing tips.
A Hershey spokesperson said that the company makes 70 million kisses a day (Wow!) and they “want each one of them looking as great as they taste.” However, the company did not offer an explanation as to why the tips were missing. In fact, Hershey said that customers “should celebrate our differences” during this, the holiday season! So there you have it! Missing tips with no explanation why. Interesting for sure!
