Maine resident, Mary Winchenbach, has an unusual hobby. She makes art work that she sells to customers. No, that’s not the unusual part. The odd part is what she uses to make her art: Moose poop. Yes, moose turds.
She calls her wares “Tirdy Works.” Interesting, huh? Mary says the words she uses are everyday words people use and can relate to. Since everyone poops, she tries to combine the words with the bathroom act to come up “something halfway decent that’s funny.”
An example of her “work” is using moose poops to make a “poopoo clock” by putting turds between the numbers to make “one-turdy, two-turdy, three-turdy, etc.” Mary also wants you to know that her turds are 100 percent local; made directly in Maine! She tracks the moose to make sure all “product” is genuine Maine poop from Maine moose! “Tirdy Works” is on Facebook. Check it out!
