Ok this is a very scary blog! So get ready for something so unbelievably horrible that you will never get it out of your head! You won’t believe your eyes and you may have nightmares! What is it? It’s the Philadelphia Flyers new mascot called “Gritty!”
Well, we exaggerate a little, but Gritty is one ugly mascot! This unruly, funny-eyed, orange-haired mascot looks like Elmo’s disreputable brother! The Flyers’ website says that Gritty’s “father was a bully, he eats ice cream from the Zamboni machine, and has a voracious love of hot dogs.” Okay?!
Even funnier is the sports blog, “Crossing Board” which had an article about Gritty titled, “The Flyers’ New Mascot Is Here To Murder You.” Hmmm! Interesting. Well let’s unveil this mascot to you. Watch the YouTube video below.
