All good things must come to an end, so they say. Well, it can finally be said about the iconic sitcom, “The Big Bang Theory.” The show’s producers announced that this season, Season 12, will be the last year for the popular show.
In a joint statement, CBS, Warner Brothers Television, and Chuck Lorre Productions said that the “cast, writers, and crew, are extremely appreciative of the show’s success and aim to deliver a final season, and series finale, that will bring “The Big Bang Theory” to an epic creative close.”
The show made stars of Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki, Kaley Cuoco, Simon Helberg, Kunal Nayyar, Mayim Bialik, and Melissa Rauch. “The Big Bang Theory” received numerous awards and nominations over its time on the air.
The final season will begin on September 24, and will wrap up in May 2019. While the show will be ending this season, it will forever live in syndication. We can all be grateful for that!
