A 125 Year Old Pair Of Levi Jeans Recently Sold For Over $100K

We all know Levi jeans can hold up for a long time, but how about 125 years?! According to Daniel Buck Soules from Daniel Buck Auctions, a 125 year old pair of jeans recently sold for $100,000. The jeans were purchased in 1893 by a Solomon Warner, a storekeeper in the Arizona Territory.

In vintage Americana, Levi jeans were made with only 1 back pocket and no belt loops as suspenders were used back then. It also appears that Warner was a big man as the jeans had a size 44 waste and a 36-inch inseam. The denim was made in New Hampshire and were manufactured in San Francisco.

Warner only worn the jeans a few times as he eventually fell ill. The jeans were stored in a trunk for many years and were in pristine condition. The individual who now owns the jeans lives somewhere in Southeast Asia. Somehow I think my jeans will never be worth that much!
