I didn’t realize there was such a thing as “joggling,” but apparently there is because a Boston University student just set a new world’s record doing it. Joggling involves running a mile while juggling some objects. In any event, Zach Prescott is the new world record holder.
Prescott, a junior at the university who is also on the track team, ran a mile while juggling 3 lacrosse balls in 4 minutes and 43.2 seconds to beat the previous world record set in 1986 by .6 seconds. Prescott told the Boston Globe that once he gets up to speed, its “pretty much just juggling in place.”
Prescott will have to wait to take his place in the record books. A spokesman for Guinness World Records states that although they are aware of Prescott’s feat, it will take up to two months to verify the results. In the meantime, congratulations, Zach!
