This past weekend we all grieved the loss of members of the Humboldt Broncos junior hockey team in Saskatchewan. Only 14 of the team's 28 members survived an extremely severe crash on Hwy 35.
The surviving team members have been united in grief, healing with each other with the love and support of their friends, families, and supporters.
The crash occurred around 5pm on Friday, April 6th and warranted a massive response of police and emergency services, including several airlifts for the injured. The Prime Minister publicly offered his condolences and the victims have seen an outpouring of support from around the world. A GoFundMe page has been set up raising over 6 million dollars thus far for the players and families of the junior hockey team and its members.
