No School in Philadelphia for the Super Bowl Parade

If the people of Philadelphia aren't already excited, the Superintendent of the Philadelphia School District announced that kids will have the day off on Thursday, which is the day of the big Super Bowl parade in the city.

In a statement, the Superintendent wrote, "The excitement of the Eagles first Super Bowl victory is a once in a lifetime event. For this reason, we have decided to give our students, teachers and their families the chance to witness history."

So now kids and teachers won't have to call out "sick" on Thursday! Congrats Philly!
