Sorority Sister Expelled After Racist Video
A sorority sister at the University of Alabama has been kicked out of the Alpha Phi sorority and expelled from the University after posting a racist video on social media.
University officials commented saying that her behavior “does not align with the community expectations” and fails to align with Capstone requirements. The student has issued an apology but still received threatening calls regarding her comments.
The video went viral being retweeted by thousands of people, even reaching Alabama running back Damien Harris who claimed that this proves racism is not dead. The student’s friends even advised her against posting the video, which can be heard in the background. Despite this advice, the sorority sister still regrets posting the video.
