Taylor Swift, Joe Alwyn Discreetly Arrive to Golden Globes Together

Date night! Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn discreetly arrived to the 2020 Golden Globes together on Sunday, January 6. The couple reportedly entered through a backdoor together before walking the red carpet separately.

Alwyn, who also celebrated the holidays with Swift, previously supported the “Lover” singer at the Cats premiere in NYC on December 16 at the Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center. The English actor was also in attendance at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills on Sunday in support of his film Harriet.

“Taylor Swift came into the #GoldenGlobes through a back door with Joe Alwyn. Then she and a handful of security guards, as well as a man carrying her dress train, split off separately and went to the bar,” reporter Amy Kaufman shared on Twitter, along with photos of Swift inside the awards show. “They immediately exited through another side door.”

The lovebirds were also spotted chatting near their table inside the Beverly Hilton.

Swift is nominated for her first-ever Golden Globe alongside legendary composer Andrew Lloyd Webber in the Best Original Song category for “Beautiful Ghosts” from the Cats soundtrack. They are up against Frozen 2’s “Into the Unknown,” Harriet’s “Stand Up,” The Lion King’s “Spirit” and Rocketman’s “(I’m Gonna) Love Me Again.”

"That alone was just a life-changing dream-come-true moment for me," Swift previously told ET of being able to work with Webber. "It's one of those songs that I feel like the movie doesn't make sense without that song. It's not like it was just a song that was stuck into the film. This is a character that is a lead character in the film, and in the original Broadway production, she doesn't have a song."
