Paula Abdul, Green Day, Dua Lipa Among 'New Year’s Rockin' Eve' Performers

Paula Abdul, Green Day, Dua Lipa and more stars will perform Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2020.

On Friday (December 6), Dick Clark Productions unveiled the roster of performers scheduled to play the annual year-end show. Among the musical acts expected to take the West Coast stage include Kelsea BalleriniBlanco BrownDan + ShayMeghan Thee Stallion, Ava MaxAnthony RamosSalt-N-Pepa and SHAED.

For the third year in the row, Ciara has been tapped to do the honors of serving as the master of ceremonies for the 48th New Year’s broadcast. Additionally, Emmy Award-winning Pose actor Billy Porter will be hosting from the Central time zone, and Pretty Little Liars alum Lucy Hale, who previously hosted the event last year, will return to broadcast from the East Coast.

What's more, the R&B songstress will also deliver a live performance of her song “Melanin” between hosting duties. “Hosting ‘New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest’ has become something I look forward to every year, and now my friend Lucy Hale and Billy Porter have joined the family, so the party just leveled up!” Ciara shared in a statement. “I hope all my melanin kings and queens tune in to rock out with me and the amazing lineup of performers this year.”

New Year’s Rockin’ Eve airs on Tuesday, December 31, beginning at 8:00 p.m. EST on ABC.
