Taylor Swift made American Music Awards history last night when she won 6 AMA Awards to become the artist with the most AMA Awards with 26. She ended the night by winning Artist of the Year.
Swift also received the Artist of the Decade Award, which was presented to her by another iconic female singer, Carole King. Swift could not believe that it was King who presented the award because it was her parents favorite singer when they were in high school.
Swift also sang a medley of her hits despite the fact that the rights to her songs are now owned by Scooter Braun after he bought the rights to her songs when he purchased Big Machine Label Group in June. In all, it was a very successful night for a singer who has known quite a few successful nights during her storied career. Congratulations, Taylor!
