Okay Monopoly lovers from Syracuse, listen up! The City of Syracuse now has its own version of the iconic board game! It’s called Syracuse Monopoly. The new version of the classic board is now on sale at many of the stores that are depicted on the game board.
Some of the properties and attractions that can be found on the board are the Hotel Syracuse, the Tipp Hill traffic light, The Varsity, and the Syracuse Crunch! Sounds fun to me! Furthermore, the first $200,000 in proceeds will benefit the Food Bank of Central New York which will provide 600,000 meals.
The game costs $50 and can be purchased at Wegmans, Coleman’s, Green Hills Farms, the SU Bookstore, Beak and Skiff, Paul deLima Coffee retail store, Joey’s, and the Marriott Syracuse Downtown. The game can also be purchased online at syracusemonopoly.com. Sounds like a great Christmas gift, right?
