Newschannel 9’s Storm Team has the answers for us! The average temperature in Syracuse for the three months was 70.2 degrees which was 1.1 degree above normal. July was 3.5 degrees above normal. June was a little bit below normal, while August was near normal. There were nine days where the temperature was 90 degrees or better. That’s pretty close to normal.
Precipitation was at 12.99 inches which is 2.33 inches above normal. Most of the extra rain came in August when Syracuse had over five inches of rain! There is summer 2019 in a nutshell. On to autumn!
