New York State Fair's Butter Sculpture Will Be Recycled

The Great New York State Fair is in the books for another year. From all appearances, it had a very successful run. While rides and exhibits are being taken down, planning has already begun for the 2020 fair!

One item that was dismantled yesterday was the 800 pound butter sculpture located in the Dairy Building. The “Milk, Love What’s Real” sculpture cannot be consumed. However, it can be recycled!

The butter will end up at Noblehurst Farms where it will be converted into renewable energy. The energy will be used to power the farm and make fertilizer for the farm’s crops! A new sculpture is a year away! We can’t wait to see what is created next year!
