Here Are The Best Things To Do, See, And Eat At The New York State Fair!

The Great New York State Fair begins this Wednesday! The 13 day extravaganza will be full of fun things to do and see. With so many exhibits, rides, and food, it is sometimes hard to choose what to do first! Well, I am here to help. Here is my list of the “must see” things to do and see:

•The 25 cent milk bar: the chocolate milk is, oh, so delicious! You will spend more than 25 cents here! In the Dairy Building;

•Pizza Fritte: the fried dough is a fair tradition! You HAVE to get some;

•The Butter Sculpture in the Dairy Building: Another Fair tradition!

•The Indian Village: Crafts, dance, and traditional music. See what early Iroquois life was like;

•Gianelli sausage and pepper sandwich: A classic meal where you can get some “Gianelli in your belly!”

•The Sand Sculpture: Watch 180 tons of sand being made into a sculpture. Center of Progress Building;

•The baked potato: In the Horticultural Building. Always a treat!

•The Equestrian Shows: Beautiful and graceful horses showing off their moves!

These are some of my favorite things to do at the Great New York State Fair! Whatever you choose to do and see, you are bound to have a fantastic time! The Fair runs from August 21st through Labor Day, September 2nd.
