It’s the Fourth of July! Americans will be celebrating their country’s independence in many different ways. Barbecues, beaches, and summer vacations are just some of the ways we Americans enjoy the holiday. For me, it’s about food! Not just any old food, but good old fashion American food. Let me rattle off a few of my favorites!
What’s a July 4th barbecue without good old hamburgers and hot dogs. Americans gobble these items down at any family picnic. It’s just the American thing to do right? What about corn on the cob? Oh yes, Americans eat corn on the cob until their teeth are full of kernels! We love it! Cherry pie! Yummy! Baked beans, a staple of New England tables? Oh yeah! S’mores at the end of the day while our stomachs are still stuffed from all the other food we crammed down our throats earlier in the day? Absolutely!
Finally, a cold beer, preferably in a colored Solo cup, to wash all that food down. What’s better than that? Anyway, the Fourth of July is an important day in American history! So whatever you do today, be grateful that you live in the greatest country in the world! Enjoy!
