If you are a night owl, and if the sky is clear, you may be able to get a glimpse of the Lyrid Meteor Shower the next few nights! Between 15 to 20 meteors per hour will be shooting through the sky coming out of the Lyra Constellation.
The shower will be visible between midnight and dawn through April 25th. In order to get the best view, you will want to be away from city lights and look towards the northeast.
According to weather reports, the sky might be clear enough to see the meteors, but there may be occasional clouds that might obscure the view. Dress appropriately. Temperatures will be in the 40s so it will be chilly. Good luck and enjoy the show!
