Florida Georgia Line, who will play at the St. Joseph’s Lakeview Amphitheater on August 15th, love the feeling of brotherhood that exists in country music. Despite the fact that they will compete against other acts at the ACM Awards this coming Sunday, April 7th in Las Vegas, the duo are just happy to share a camaraderie with other country artists.
“We just root ‘me on and we want them to win, and I don’t feel a ton of competition necessarily,” said Tyler Hubbard. Of course they want to win, but if they don’t, they will be happy for the winners. Hubbard adds that to them, country music is a collection of artists that act like a “big family.”
Florida Georgia Line will have a few chances to win this Sunday. The duo are nominated in three categories, with their hit, “Meant To Be,” up for “Single of the Year.” The ACM Awards are this Sunday, April 7th, and will be televised on the CBS 5.
