Helping Hounds Has Found A New Home! Fundraising Effort Now Underway!

Helping Hounds, the non-profit organization dedicated to finding rescued dogs their forever homes, has finally found a new place to call home! The DeWitt-based organization has been looking for a new place to relocate to and has finally found the right spot.

Helping Hounds has been looking for a new place for about a year. The organization will need to move as the building they have been renting has been put up for sale. The rescue organization has purchased a building on the old Hancock Air Base.

The building will need extensive renovation, and as a result, Helping Hounds has begun an ambitious fundraising effort to secure the $1.2 million necessary to turn the building into a state-of-the-art kennel/community service facility. If you would like to help with the fundraiser operation with a donation, or if you want to give a dog its new forever home, please visit helpinghoundsdogrescuse.org.
