Minnesota resident, 87 year old Noreen (she didn’t want her last name used), can thank a black Labrador for saving her life! Tim Curfman, who owns Midnight, was taking his garbage out the other day, when Midnight started acting unusual.
His dog kept staring at him and it appeared he wanted Curfman to follow him. He followed Midnight around the other side of the house where he found his neighbor, Noreen, lying in the snow. She had fallen while filling up her bird feeder and could not get up. The temperature was -1 degrees!
Curfman helped Noreen into his house where his wife got Noreen a change of clothes and helped her warm up. Fortunately, she was not seriously injured. Curfman is very proud of Midnight while Noreen considers him to be her hero. Either way, Midnight got some serious treats that night!
