HOT 107.9's Frontline Salute

Gina - Liverpool, NY:

I'm a college student at Onondaga Community College and I would like to salute the Onondaga Community College staff for their continuous hard work and effort to keep the college running during this challenging time. We couldn't get through this time without you!

Nikki - Cicero, NY:

I would like to salute my mother because she works for FedEx everyday. She is constantly putting her self at risk everyday to still provide for her family and make sure other families are getting their packages! She's a hard worker and deserves the world!

Gracelyn - Liverpool, NY:

I want to salute my sister Christine Tancredi. She is a nurse at St.Joseph's. Not only is she on the front lines during this pandemic, but every other day too at the hospital and teaching nursing students. Never seeking recognition. She is my hero, today and always! :)

Ashlyn - Syracuse, NY:

I want to give a shout out to my friend Jackie. She is a frontline essential worker at an Alzheimer's and dementia facility. She's under so much pressure and stress due to this pandemic, yet continues to report to work everyday working really hard to protect her residents during this crisis. The essential workers are the ones getting the rest of us through this time. Thank you so much, I love you. If you know an essential worker, buy them lunch. Jackie, your next one's on me!

Katie - Fairmount, NY:

I just want to give a shout out to all those delivery drivers out there. I'm not hearing enough thanks to you guys, and you are definitely putting yourselves at risk to make sure we're still able to get our favorite foods. It's something that definitely can brighten our day. Thank you for all of your hard work, and for making our favorite dishes available to us.

Jess - Cicero, NY:

I'd like to give a shout-out to my sister. She works at Chick-Fil-A, and she just works really hard. I think she deserves some thanks and a shout-out, because she's balancing that with her last year in High School. So she's really working hard, and I'm proud of her for that.

Logan - Syracuse, NY:

I'd like to shout out health care workers, and my Mom, who is a nurse.

Connorlynn - Camillus, NY:

I just wanted to give a shout out to all of the law enforcement workers, who are still doing their job to keep us all safe. Thanks so much!

Mark - Syracuse, NY:

My name is Mark, and I'm the Facility Administrator for Central New York Dialysis. I'd like to shout out to my team of nurses and health care workers. Without you, our patients would not be able to get the life sustaining treatments they need to survive. You are truly heroes, and I'm so incredibly proud of all of you. Thanks to you and all essential employees for your bravery and the sacrifices you make, to ensure we're all taken care of. We truly appreciate you.
