Okay, we know the holidays just ended and many of us are now embarking on a resolution to lose weight this year. However, we are getting closer to Girl Scout Cookie time, and the organization is going to tempt you with a new cookie flavor: the Lemon Ups!
Yes, the Girl Scouts are introducing a new flavor! The Lemon Ups, baked by Little Brownie Bakers, are a crisp, lemon flavor cookie that has a sweet glaze on one side of the cookie to help balance out the lemony tartness! It sounds delicious! The cookies also contain messages of empowerment such as “I am an innovator,” or “I am a leader.”
The Girl Scouts do use two bakers so the cookies may vary depending upon location. The ABC Bakers cookie is called “Lemonades” which are thinner and have a lemony icing on it. The Girl Scouts are also updating their packaging to reflect some of the experiences Girl Scouts can find in scouting. In any case, the cookies are always delicious and the money goes to support a great organization!
