Yesterday was National Cookie Day! We all love cookies. In fact, the average person will eat 19,000 cookies in their lifetime! Wow! Anyway, in a survey about cookies, Americans were asked to list their favorite cookies. Here are the Top 5 Cookies as voted upon by the people who eat them:
#5. Oatmeal Raisin. Always a fan favorite!

#3. Peanut Butter. In 1916, American inventor and scientist, George Washington Carver began promoting the many uses for peanuts!
#2. Brownie. Really, I personally wouldn’t classify the brownie as a cookie, but we will go with it!
#1. Chocolate Chip. Everyone’s favorite! The Toll House Crisp cookie was invented in 1938!
