The weather for Halloween isn’t looking too great. Newschannel 9’s Storm Team is calling for rain and wind. So if you are looking for some indoor places to take your little goblins to, here are a few recommendations:
•Trick or Treating at Destiny USA from 5-7 pm: Over 100 stores will be handing out candy to children in costumes, plus the Canyon area in the mall will be the site of fun activities and a family-friendly movie!
•Halloween Party at the Boys and Girls Club at the 2100 Fayette Street location. From 5:30-7:30 pm. Free admission includes pizza, candy, and music from DJ Bigboy. Plus a Haunted House! Donations of Halloween buckets, candy, donuts, juice, and decorations are requested.
•Peppino’s Halloween Costume Contest. Starts at 4:00 pm. The pizzeria is located at 1849 Grant Boulevard. The annual contest is for children 12 and under with 3 prizes. Visit Peppino’s Syracuse on Facebook for more information.
•Trick or Treat at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Liverpool at 6:00 pm. Trick or Treat from car trucks (inside if it rains) along with games and prizes, music by the church organist (“The Music of Pipe Screams”), hot dogs, cider, and donuts!
