Alex Trebek, the iconic host of the quiz show, “ Jeopardy,” recently said that he had a relapse of his Stage 4 pancreatic cancer. His cancer had been in remission, but he confirmed that it had returned.
In an interview with CTV’s Lisa LeFlamme, Trebek, 79, said that his chemotherapy treatments have taken a toll on his health. In fact, it’s quite possible that he may have to relinquish his duties on the show which he has hosted for 35 years.
Trebek also told LaFlamme that he does not fear death. He understands that he is nearing the end of his life. He also said that he had lived a very fulfilling life. Alex Trebek is a great television host, but an even greater human being as he faces his future with dignity and grace
