Get ready for some 21st century tech talk about Deep Fakes. What is a deep fake? In simple terms, it's over-laying a face using AI onto another face of a real video.
Think of it as a face filter on Instagram, but on steroids. Last night this video (source CTRL SHIFT FACE on YouTube) of Bill Hader, from an old Late Show appearance talking about working with Tom Cruise, was altered to mash up Tom Cruise, and Seth Rogen's face whenever Hader was impersonating them.
