After a SUNY Oswego student overdosed on heroin over the weekend, city police have made quick arrests in the case, nabbing two alledged drug dealers.

21 year old Brian Tumolo and 22 year old Gabriel Gonzalez have been arrested and charged with drug offenses and city polcie say they seized 40 bags of heroin in the raid.

Two students overdosed at a residence on West Bride Street over the weekend and one of them died.

Oswego Police say they've seen quite a spike in heroin use in the last couple of years as user turn to the cheap drug to replace painkillers, which are now much harder obtain under state law.

Tumolo is being held on 10 thousand dollars bail and city police say they don't expect to make any further arrests in the case.
