A popular fair destination sustained some damage thanks to Tuesday's wild storm.
Fair officials say the roof of the West End Grill was peeled back a few feet by the storm's heavy winds. Apparently the grill didn't suffer any other damage as a result of the storm. They say they understand the grill's owner plans to have repairs completed in time for the Syracuse Nationals later this month, so it will be in operation for the start of the fair August 21. The grill is a popular location in the fair' west end, providing live music in addition to food and beer.
