There's been another dog attack in Onondaga County and this time two people have been rushed to the hospital.
Syracuse police say it happened on Pattison Street Wednesday morning.
A pitbull had been let outside a home when two young boys walked by. The dog went after them, tearing into one 14 year old boy on his thigh. They climbed on the roof of a car to get away from the dog.
Police later determined that a 59 year old man, who was the husband of the woman watching the dog for her son, had also been severely bitten. He suffered what's being described as severe injuries to his arm.
The woman who was watching the dog has now been issued a summons and animal control has now taken possession of the dog. City police say the woman was caring for the dog which belonged to her son, who is now incarcerated.
