Syracuse Peace Council asked visitors to the Downtown Farmer's Market in Clinton Square for help in keeping US military aid out of Iraq.

The group says our nation should not only keep American forces from being involved there, but we should not send military advisors or weapons like bombs or drones.  The Council thinks US involvement should be limited to providing humanitarian aid that would be distributed by third parties like the International Red Cross.  They say the history of involvement in the Middle East by America and Western nations exacerbates the sectarian violence occurring in the region.
