An Oswego County man is behind bars after police say he made a terroristic threats to town officials in Palermo.
77 year old Jacob Heer of Central Square was apparently upset over his town tax bill when he drove to town hall and was hostile to officials there. Police them claim he threatened to return to the town hall with a shotgun.
The police were quickly called and Heer was arrested. He's being held on two thousand dollars bail.
Police say Heer actually paid his town tax bill and the issue was resolved but he became increasingly hostile to town officials.
He was arraigned in Palermo Town Court.
