New York's attorney general is cracking down on operations that illegally sell puppies to unsuspecting consumers.

Eric Schneiderman says his office has permanently barred an Oswego County woman from selling animals. Schneiderman's office reached an agreement with Carissa Seaman, who's accused of buying puppies on Craigslist, keeping them in poor condition and reselling them illegally. Schneiderman plans to discuss the cases Friday in Syracuse.
