New details have been released today into the death of a 13 month old child in Oneida County after police arrested the child's father on manslaughter charges.

At a news conference Thrusday morning, Oneida County Sheriff Rob Maciol says the baby's mother went to work on Sunday night and left two children in the care of the baby's father, 31 year old Ian Gulbin. Anastasia Hogen returned home from work Monday morning and found 13 month old Brayden Gulbin lifeless on a bedroom floor and she called 911. The child was pronounced dead and an autopsy showed that the baby was the victim of a homicide.

Police say the couple had just moved to Bridgewater about six weeks ago from Norwich and lived on Doe Road.

An autopsy was performed Tuesday at the Onondaga County Medical Examiners Office and the baby suffered from several contusions, skull fractures and internal injuries.

Ian Gulbin has been charged with First Degree Manslaughter and he's now being held without bail in the Oneida County Jail. He's due to reappear next week in Town of Floyd Court.
