Voters in the Liverpool School District approved a nearly $38 million school renovation project.

The vote sets in motion a number of improvements, including a new roof for Liverpool High School as well as many renovations at Chestnut Hill.  The budget also provides for safety and security updates at all district properties.  A tax increase of just over 2.8% effective in the fall of 2016 will pay for most of the improvements.

The vote was 959 in favor to 641 opposed.
