Syracuse Police have charged 3 people in a bizarre shooting that might have ended tragically.
Instead, nobody was hurt when a gun was fired at the floor, inside their apartment at 202 Cayuga Street. That shot came thru the ceiling of an apartment directly below, missing a 2 year old girl and her father.
Officers found a shotgun and 2 handguns in the upstairs apartment, where they arrested 3 people.
19 year old Justin Ufares, of that address, 18 year old Bay Rosario of 461 Whittier Avenue, Syracuse, and 18 year old Charles Jennings of 201 Burnet Park Drive, in Syracus are being charged with reckless endangerment and criminal possession of a weapon, among other charges.
They are scheduled for arraignment today in Syracuse City Criminal Court.
