Private and public sector groups dealing with family homelessness meet today to discuss the problem.
The Wilson Foundation says the goal of the roundtable discussion is to look at why it continues to persist. They say need to understand why families become homeless, and why it is difficult for many to stop being homeless. The foundation plans to present a study that finds trauma is a likely cause of family homelessness. The gathering begins at 2pm at The Salvation Army Family Shelter in Syracuse.
