Fulton police say they arrested a man after he called them nearly fifty times over a five-hour period.

Police say George Stevens made and average of 10 harassing calls an hour between late Saturday and early Sunday morning.  They say the repeated calls interfered with the department's ability to do its job.  They warned Stevens repeatedly about not making the repeated calls and being at risk for arrest.

Stevens is charged with second degree aggravated harassment.  There is a report that Stevens had been ticketed earlier that evening for an open container violation.
