A survey by a highly-respected consumer publication finds Wegmans tops among all supermarket shoppers nationwide.

Consumer Reports polled 27,000 customers and found that Wegmans was rated "excellent" for service, perishables and cleanliness, and "very good" for prices.  Trader Joe's, who is expected in Central New York later this year, came in second.  Also on the list: Aldi, Target, Sam's Club, BJ's Wholesale, Price Chopper and Tops.  Finishing last on Consumer Report's poll is Wal-Mart, with ratings of "poor" for service and perishables.
