A plan by restaurant chain "Chili's" to donate 10 percent of its proceeds Monday to the National Autism Association was withdrawn after news that the organization believes vaccines can cause autism.

Theresa Familo, who has a teenage son on the autism spectrum, says it's frustrating to hear such a viewpoint, because it contradicts everything you've researched and everything you believe in.  She says not vaccinating your children is a bad idea, because autism isn't fatal - unlike some of the diseases a child can get if they're not vaccinated.

Familo says she doesn't think Chili's knew the real purpose of the organization.  She says it's easy for anyone to be confused when the word "National" is in a group's name.
