The Camillus man convicted of stealing a winning scratch off lottery ticket purchased by a customer at his famly's store gets an 8-and-a-third to 25 year prison sentence this morning. 35 year old Andy Ashkar was convicted by a judge in May of criminal possession of stolen property - after waiving his right to a jury trial. The lottery ticket was purchased in 2006 by Robert Miles who was told that the jackpot was just 5-thousand dollars - but given only 4-thousand a store handling fee was deducted. Lottery officials became suspicious when Andy and Nayel Ashkar tried to cash in the ticket last year.
